Reports like this baffle me. Totally baffle me. This doesn’t happen to me – I’ve never seen it before. Nothing was touched in this area of the application, in any way, shape, or form.
If you want to backup your checkmarks, find the restore_points file in the apps/wiimc folder on your SD card/USB device.
rodriesKeymasterNo-one has done any further work on this.
rodriesKeymasterIt’s not a WiiMC problem – SHOUTcast has been having problems for awhile now – http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?t=333706
rodriesKeymasterrodries and I both have and use USB LAN, works great.
August 27, 2011 at 4:34 pm in reply to: "DVD Playback is not supported on this Wii" ERROR with 1.1.9 #29405rodriesKeymasterIf DVD used to work for you and doesn’t now (“DVD playback is not supported on this Wii” error), run this tester and report back the results:
http://www.wiimc.org/files/drive-id-tester.zip
Important: If DVD playback doesn’t work for you on 1.1.8 and below, it also won’t work on any future version. Please don’t report your results. I only want results from people who can confirm that DVD playback was properly working on 1.1.8.
rodriesKeymasterI’d try a make-clean. I’ve built it many times now from scatch and don’t have build errors.
rodriesKeymasterNew string:
msgid "DVD playback is not supported on this Wii."
msgstr ""
Revised string: “Invalid DVD.” changed to “Unsupported DVD.”
rodriesKeymasterNo, it’s not.
rodriesKeymasterThis was fixed months ago – http://code.google.com/p/wiimc/source/detail?r=967
You just have to wait for a new release.
rodriesKeymasterRemove the no_ios_reload line from meta.xml
rodriesKeymasterThere’s a button there on that toolbar to change from Single Play, Random Play, etc. You probably have it on the Single Play mode.
rodriesKeymasterA few things:
-4.3 comes with IOS58, so you won’t need to install IOS58
-if HBC is running on something other than IOS58, all you need to do is download the hackmii installer and run it from within HBC (just put it on your SD card at apps/hackmii). There is no need to delete HBC first
-there is a new hack for 4.3, LetterBomb, which does not require a game, in case you did somehow lose your HBCrodriesKeymasterThe answer is yes, WiiMC supports standard playlist formats such as pls. You can make those on your PC – but be sure the file paths the program you use generates are relative – ie: if they contain c:my musc… WiiMC won’t be able to find the file.
@ jhb50 – does every post you make have to pimp out WiiMC+? Come on. Really.
rodriesKeymasterIt’s not a bug. The scraper code is in WiiMC itself, not in the scripts hosted on wiimc.org. YouTube updated its site, so WiiMC needs to be updated accordingly. I can’t tell you when this will happen.
rodriesKeymasterYouTube just changed its website so the link scraper code needs to be updated. That’s all.
