Also the reason why I posted the website is because people said before they couldn’t format large hard drive to fat32. Use the conversion or program, doesn’t really matter to me. Just letting know what worked for me.
RudyrazaParticipantdjdynamite I am a spammer and I do not have a fascination with fat32. I am not a big fan of fat32 and I know people can revert back to another version. The ntfs and fat32 file system as come up many times over the course of WIIMC and its updates. I like to work with the new version when ever it is released no matter if it is WIIMC or some other homebrew. Testing it and other homebrew will help me keep family and friends up to date as to where they stand with what they are running on their Wiis. I post what works with me and so if it helps great, if it doesn’t don’t use it. So for all of those who enjoy attacking people “me”, you can kiss my ass.
RudyrazaParticipantCMB stop telling people what to do. The section is called help and support. My advise was not meant for a full solution but a quick one until the issue is fixed if people wanted to keep using 1.08 for testing.
RudyrazaParticipantI’m sure by now Tantric is well aware of the problem and does need “everyone” writing to him. The one quick solution I posted was not meant for a full solution. It was on for those of wanted to use 1.08 for whatever reasons (testing) and had problems with NTFS hard drives.
Keep up the work Tantric
RudyrazaParticipantLooks like Fat32 is what your hard drive needs to be formatted to. If you have larger hard drives and windows does not give you the option to format to fat32 then try this program. I formatted my hard drive to fat32 with it and worked great.
FYI Program works on Windows 7 64bit PC.
RudyrazaParticipantBoth of my USB hard drives work. WIIMC hard drive plug in and my WBFS hard drive for USB Loader at the same time. They worked in 1.07 and now in 1.08. Hard drive looks like it has to be fat32 in 1.08 in which I used a Fat32 Formatter program because windows does not give you the option on larger drives.
I have IOS58 installed from which WIIMC, Hackmii and homebrew now use. However I kept IOS 202 as well. It does not have any effect on my WII with leaving it there.
RudyrazaParticipantLooks like Fat32 is correct for me as well so if you have larger hard drives and windows does not give you the option to format to fat32 then try this program. I formatted my hard drive to fat32 with it and worked great.
FYI Program works on Windows 7 64bit PC.
RudyrazaParticipantSame here
RudyrazaParticipantFormat USB device to FAT file system. This should allow movie playback until the WIIMC NTFS is fixed.
Great work on WIIMC 🙂
